To view all the chart notes in a single document, after opening a patient's chart, click on the Practice Notes sidebar button. The list of documents in the patients electronic chart will appear. The default is for all the documents to be listed, which includes both encounters and chart notes. Click on the Chart Notes toggle button to display only the chart notes. Click on the Date field of any chart note and a document viewer will appear which displays all the chart notes in reverse chronological order. This document can be printed from the document viewer. Click on the Return button to return to the chart note list.
If you click on the notepad icon associated with any chart note in the document list, the document viewer will also open up, but will display only the chart note selected.
If you select the All toggle button at the top of the document list, and then select a chart note from the list by clicking on the Date field, the document view will again appear and will display only the chart note selected.
