Why are we doing this?

Here is a link to a document from CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) which gives a summary of the requirements for stage I of the EMR update.  It is a .pdf document and might take a while to load at work.  In order to qualify for money from the stimulus bill, we need to meet these requirements.
